Here at BODO UK we are big fans of social media, as a company that started up recently, we began life in what some would call the internet era. Back before the internet was so commonplace marketing your product and getting your company’s ethics out there was gone about totally differently – you’d need to get newspaper or magazine features or ads, TV adverts and hope that word of mouth managed to acquire you a bigger customer-base.
The internet and social media has changed all that and this is one of the reasons why BODO is so focused on presenting the right online image. As well as using our Facebook page and websites to tell our fanbase about our company and product developments, we also use the fanpage to promote others within the ethical fashion industry, the good work of charities and to share stories that inspire, motivate and intrigue. Some of the subjects we cover relate to current affairs - stories or events that are going viral, whereas others may have taken place years ago, but still carry an important message and are worth sharing.
